December...the most wonderful time of the year!

It's the most wonderful time of the year!  December is a whirlwind with shopping, parties, Christmas and ending with the the BEST day of the year...my birthday!
Seriously this year truly is flying by and I have been VERY absent from blogging.  I've had the most challenging year of my 18 year teaching career and my heart just hasn't been into blogging.  I've noticed a similar trend in "Blogland" but it seems people are getting back into their blogging grooves. Yay!  I may have been an absent blogger but I've been keeping up with blog stalking!
I missed linking up with Farley's Currently last month and I just couldn't let another month go by without joining in.  So without further adieu here is my December Currently...

  3. My mom's birthday is Jan. 2, so we call her the "almost" New Year's baby!! I scored quite a few things from TpT on Cyber Monday too - it's nice to get new ideas.

I feel there is so much going on this year in my district - CCSS, new Observation/Teacher Evaluation tool, etc. It is easy to get behind or lack motivation to blog...I try! My goal this year is to post more than last, on different things...I FAILED in Nov. & will likely in Dec. too.

Oh well, we do our best, right?!

Merry Christmas - looks like looking at lights is a tradition we have in common!

  4. I love the name of your blog!! I had a blump (blogger slump) and barely posted anything the whole of November! I felt bad and I am still trying to get my blog and store off the ground. It wasn't the most opportune time to power down! We have a state park here in KY and that has "southern lights." Its really neat light displays and music! they even have a petting zoo and other fun things for kids to do at the end of the drive. We always do that Christmas night and our kids drift right off to sleep. With it being Christmas night there is no petting zoo or other things, just lights and music. Caps off a Christmas day! Have a Happy Christmas!
